- To understand the Equality Act and how it affects volunteers
- To explore what is meant by equality and diversity
- To be able to put into use 'inclusion' in support that is provided
- How to reduce isolation and promote inclusion

Our monthly meeting for organisations and individuals working with/for older people locally
Completion of this course will enable you to:
• Understand the role and responsibilities of a First Aider
• Be able to assess an incident
• Be able to provide first aid to an unresponsive casualty
• Be able to provide first aid to a casualty that is choking
• Be able to provide first aid to a casualty with external bleeding
• Know how to provide first aid to a casualty that is in shock
• Know how to provide first aid to a casualty with minor injuries
