The aim of this course is to be introduced to legislation regarding health and safety and appreciate the link between risk, assessment of risk and positive support for the individual.

The objectives of the course:

  • To be introduced to health and safety legislation
  • To know how to find access information regarding health and safety
  • To understand an individuals responsibility to adhere to health and safety precautions
  • To appreciate the importance of risk assessment to meet health and safety requirements
  • To have practical lone working policies.
