In this event participants will discuss support for families and learn about the work of the Hastings Opportunity Area. Making Every Contact Count (MECC), this is a behavioural change technique which is now commonly used by health and social care staff during their day-to-day interactions or health appointments with individuals, although you don’t need to be in one of these roles to attend the training, it can be beneficial to anyone.

Hastings Voluntary Action are delighted to work in collaboration with the Lets Do Business Group, Beaming ISP for Businesses and Sands and Co Business Consultancy LTD to facilitate an Artificial Intelligence (AI) information session in Hastings.
• Sonia Blizzard, Managing Director from Beaming ISP for businesses, will speak about where AI has come from and the impact of AI on the workplace.
• Bill Neech, owner and Principle Consultant from Sands & Co will give a presentation sharing practical steps to establish, document, and review your organisation’s processes and workflows — what they are, why they matter, and how they drive consistency, efficiency, and better decision-making.
• Emily Wright, Business Manager from the Lets Do Business Group will give some examples of using AI.
