HCN - Learning From Lockdown

Registration is closed for this event
HVA will be holding our first Zoom HCN themed event – Learning From Lockdown - on Friday 18th September, 1pm-2.30pm. We would like to hear what you as an organisation has learnt from having to work in these challenging circumstances: Have you relied on volunteers to keep things running? Have you used the internet or social media to carry out your work, at home or in your normal place of work? What will you carry on doing going forward? To share your learning and to hear about new ways of working, please book yourself a place by following the link: www.hastingsvoluntaryaction.org.uk/events

Ahead of the 2026 Fat Tuesday celebrations in Hastings, we are holding an umbrella workshop! Come along and decorate your umbrella, guided by a professional artist from Radiator Arts, and bring it to the Preservation Sunday parade. It will be a vibrant session, full of colour, and all materials will be provided. Please bring your own umbrella, try charity shops for interesting and affordable examples. We will provide fruit, light snacks and tea and coffee throughout the session.

This workshop is brought to you by the HVA Macmillan Cancer Champions project, that promotes conversations in our communities, and is open to all.
