Community Connector

Full time permanent – 37 hours per week
Salary range - £20,494 - £23,080 dependent on skills & experience
Based in Hastings.
Sussex Community Development Association (SCDA) delivers a range of projects & services aimed at supporting the needs of vulnerable individuals and empowering and further developing community activity. We are now looking for an experienced individual to join our Employability team:
This is a great opportunity to join SCDA during a period of growth. We are recruiting for an experienced Community Connector to offer intensive, ongoing and practical support to eligible clients, enabling them to access a range of services geared to supporting them back into sustainable work, learning or volunteering.
You will demonstrate a successful track record in working supportively with vulnerable people, assisting & enabling them to access opportunities, and be accustomed to regular review and performance reporting.
You should be able to demonstrate excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills and will be a confident and credible ambassador for SCDA, showing sensitivity to the aims & values of the organisation as a whole.
The post is subject to a DBS check and based in Hastings, with some travel to partner and outreach locations across East Sussex and Kent.
