Hastings Voluntary Action is currently looking for skilled and dedicated people for three new part-time jobs.
We are about to start running an innovative one-year age-friendly volunteering project to pilot specific activities to support older people into volunteering and to continue volunteering, building on HVA's previous experience. The two new Project Workers will run these focussed pilot activities, capture the learning from these activities, reflect on the findings, and create reports and tools to share our learning with others across the country. In addition, we are recruiting for a new Group Support Worker to help local residents to set up new community groups, charities and social enterprises, and support them to grow and thrive. In addition, this person will run specific aspects of HVA’s Volunteering Service, encouraging people to volunteer, and supporting organisations that are seeking volunteers. [ref: HVA19C]
Please note:
• Do indicate if you have all the capabilities for two of these three roles, and you would like to combine two part-time roles into a full time role.
• There might be a little bit of flexibility in the terms of the job for the right candidate
