The MY Trust is currently looking for two enthusiastic Skills and Employability Advisers to join our teams in Eastbourne (part-time basis working 22.5 hours per week) and Hastings (full time basis working 37 hours per week).

The role of the Skills and Employability Adviser (SEA) is to support 15-18 year old young people who are NEET (not in education or employment with training)  to overcome their barriers to be able to  access provision that will  develop and shape their future.  Based within the Youth Employability Service (YES) and working with identified and referred  young people,  the SEA should be able to support a caseload in both a 1:1 capacity, via social media communications, or through the delivery of small group work sessions. The key to this role will be the ability to work pro-actively with young people to encourage them into work, apprenticeships or post 16 learning  opportunities that met the individual needs of the young people.
Experience of working with  young people is essential and demonstrable experience of employability skills and support work is also important for applicants to have.
