Friary Gardeners (Parchment Trust)

To provide daytime opportunities and training primarily for learning disabled groups in the gardening/horticultural field. Also limited volunteer opportunities for everyone encouraging those with a mental health background. Activities include community gardening, growing pot plants and organic vegetables on a 2 acre site, which is open to the public all year round. Also offer literacy and numeracy, I.T., photography, various craft activities, DIY and maintenance work. The site is a working nursery, open to the public daily.

Days & times of activities or availability by telephone:

Open 5 days a week from 8 am - 4 pm for our trainees
Open 5 days a week from 9am - 3:50pm for the public.
Also,limited Saturdays are advertised in the Friday ad for high season annual plants and vegetable plants
