A non-sectarian/non-political organisation. The largest service organisation in the world. Each local Lions Club aims to service its local community. Hastings Lions Club raises its own funds, assesses applications for support, makes donations to local causes and assists in fundraising events. Membership by invitation. The Community Services Committee meets on the 1st Tuesday of each month and the Club's business meeting is on the 2nd Tuesday of each month.
