St Helen's Church runs 'Happy Hands' every Wednesday during term time from 9.30am in St Helens Church Hall on the Ridge. Happy Hands is for pre-school babies and toddlers and their carers. This has been well attended and proves to be very popular. We tell Bible stories, play games, make crafts, sing songs, say prayers and mainly have fun!
This group is run help families to do things together and to promote community. This, in turn, helps to promote self-esteem, value and hope.
We also run a youth group every Friday evening during term time which currently is for School Year 7 and above. The evening is spent playing games (physical and virtual!), doing crafts, cookery, discussions and lots of fun!
