The Association's aim is to promote and protect the interests of residents living at Willow Glen, a sheltered housing scheme for older and disabled people. The scheme comprises 40 one-bedroom or studio flats and one two-bedroom maisonette. The Association formed on 12 December 2011 and has 46 members. So far, we have held Christmas and New Year parties, organised a table sale, film night, bingo nights, coffee and games afternoons and bingo sessions. Our programme for 2012 includes Easter events, a garden party to mark the Queen's Jubilee, barbecues, a coach outing, games and quiz nights and Halloween and Christmas parties. We publish regular newsletters, have conducted an equality survey and are keen to broaden and strengthen our involvement with the wider community. Our service provider is AmicusHorizon Ltd, a registered social landlord with membership of HVA.
