We seek funding to acquire land in the Ore Valley to save and enhance urban woodland and green space for community use and to protect animal habitat.
Our primary focus is to manage and enhance the woodland valley, 'Speckled Wood' (Upper Ore Valley), for community use.
We are a Charitable Incorporated Organisation open to residents and individuals and organisations that support our aims.
We work with many local organisations and community groups with an interest in Ore Valley and Ore Village.
We currently have projects such as Ore Village Green, reviving allotments, and improving accessibility to the woodland. We are working closely with Hastings Greenway Group for future provision for an all purpose pathway through Speckled Wood.
