Bambanani aims to:
1. Represent the interests of the expatriate peoples from the Matebelaland Regions of Zimbabwe who are currently resident in East Sussex
2. Consider and take appropriate action to further the interests of members in the fields of health, welfare, education, social and legal needs, investment and other related areas as might be identified by the Management Committee and the Board of Trustees of the BA.
3. Establish a means of communication and consultation with comparable associations and societies.
4. To regularly attend to the training needs essential for the efficient running of the association by both members and those with management responsibilities.
5. To provide a forum for discussion and the arrangement of seminars, lectures and meetings on matters of interest to members.
6. To consider and act upon any matters not specifically mentioned above but which may be of interest, import or concern to the members and other bodies with which the Association would interact, professionally or otherwise.
