Foodbanks

We have gathered some information about foodbanks and other community-led food services in the Hastings area:

Warming up the Homeless offer support to those who are street homeless or classes as homeless under the Homeless Reduction Act. For help accessing food and other support contact trudy@warmingupthehomeless.org.uk or call 07367 060708.  

Hastings Foodbank are open and operating a streamlined service. They urgently need donations of specific food items.

Dom's Food Mission is still operating, and they have launched a new delivery service of frozen meals to the most vulnerable people - visit their facebook page for the latest news or call 07783 190948.

The Pantry ETC Sussex are operating on Tuesdays and Fridays 10-2 from 5th May and can take new members. See The Pantry ETC Sussex Face book page for more details or call 07739 999984.

Surviving the Streets run a foodbank on Sundays at Tilekiln Community Centre for Hollington residents only. Open 10-12. They can also deliver food packages to elderly or vulnerable people in Hollington call 850219 or visit their facebook page for more info.

Seaview are still providing services for people who are homeless, but in a different way to usual, including providing lunch.

 

 

   

 

HVA Membership

Hundreds of organisations active in Hastings have joined HVA.  

Its free to join and members can benefit from a range of services.
