FAQs
-
What should be included in a constitution?
The constitution is a set of rules that defines how the organisation is governed. The constitution can be simple for a small group, but would need to cover the usual expected situations for larger organisations. We recommend using a model constitution, and you can contact HVA to review your draft constitution.
-
Where can I find model constitutions / governing documents?
Useful templates and model governing documents can be found on the Government guidance pages for setting up a charity.
-
Do you have any resources to help me find funding?
Our funding page includes useful resources, funding opportunities and guidance to help voluntary and community organisations explore potential sources of funding.
