 What Is It?&nbsp\;</strong>What I Wish I Knew Abou
 t Dementia creates a space for open and honest con
 versations about dementia\, inviting community mem
 bers to share their real reflections\, thoughts an
 d feelings.</p>\n \n <p>By amplifying the lived ex
 perience of people affected by dementia\, this pro
 ject aims to normalise open conversation\, challen
 ge stigma and help people feel less alone.<br />\n
  The focus is on real voices and real stories. The
  tone is reflective\, gentle and human rather than
  educational or clinical.</p>\n \n <p><strong>How 
 does it work?&nbsp\;</strong>During Dementia Actio
 n Week (18th &ndash\; 24th May 2026)\, our public 
 reflection boards invite people to share short wri
 tten thoughts about dementia or for those who pref
 er to contribute anonymously the board includes a 
 QR code that gives quick access to an online page 
 where you can share your thoughts at any point dur
 ing the week. People are welcome to engage in what
 ever way feels comfortable\, writing a note\, read
 ing others&rsquo\; reflections or simply taking a 
 moment to pause.These community contributions will
  shape the heart of our main event on 4 June 2026\
 , guiding a gentle\, supportive conversation.</p>\
