Hastings Mental Health Support Training – 13th April 22 HVA would like to invite you to a 4-hour workshop designed to raise awareness of common mental health issues, an overview of what support is available and how to navigate the local mental health system. The workshop will consist of: • A look at how common Mental Health issues develop • An overview of some common conditions • Depression • Anxiety • Psychosis • Personality disorders/ Complex Trauma • Self- harm and other expressions of distress • Where to get help if someone is suicidal • An overview of the local Mental health system and supports • An interactive discussion about experiences • Managing your own wellbeing You will receive a workshop pack including a list of useful contacts and resources

Hear from a specialist former fraud squad officer from City of London Police, who now delivers training about fraud investigation to law enforcement professionals. Members of Sussex Police will be available to give advice and tips, and share examples of cases they have dealt with over the years, plus helpful literature to take away.
