Meet the Funders Session (Foreshore Trust Small & Events Grants)

HVA are hosting a “Meet the Funder” session with the Foreshore Trust to support prospective applicants to the Small & Events Grants programme. This is an opportunity to meet members of the Grant Advisory Panel in person, find out what they are looking for in a strong application, and ask any questions about the process.

To ensure the session is as useful as possible for all attendees, we would like to set some clear expectations in advance. This session is designed to provide general guidance on the grants programme and will focus on:
•    The application process and key timelines.
•    Eligibility requirements and assessment criteria.
•    The characteristics of strong applications.
•    Common application strengths and weaknesses.
•    Tips to help applicants prepare high-quality submissions.
Please note that the session is not intended to:
•    Provide feedback on individual project ideas.
•    Discuss the merits of specific proposals.
•    Develop or refine applications on a one-to-one basis.
•    Offer any indication of the likely success of a particular project.
Attendees are encouraged to use the information provided to assess their own ideas against the programme criteria and strengthen any future application.
