“No Barriers Here” Training (conversations advanced care planning, dying, death and loss)

No Barriers Here is an approach which supports creative and inclusive conversations around advance care planning, dying, death and loss, particularly where communication may be more of an issue. The hospice has been trained to run the activities, and they are also exploring how the approach can be used flexibly with different groups and audiences.

Although the approach uses creative activities, people do not need to be ‘arty’ or have any particular creative skills to take part.  It is really about helping to open up conversations in a way that feels inclusive, thoughtful and person-centred.
