Food Hygiene & Infection Control Awareness

The aim of this course is to give practical information on food handling and safe preparation and how to control the spread of infection. Please advise us as soon as you can if you have booked a space but unable to attend, so that we can make the space available to another participant. Failure to attend without notice will incur a charge of £40 per person. This charge applies to all agencies.

The objectives of this course are:

To understand the chain of infection

To practice washing hands properly

To ensure safety in food preparation

To know correct chilling and cooking temperatures

To understand possible causes of food poisoning and the best ways to avoid the possibility

• 23rd September Mental Health First Aid Awareness 0900-1300
• 13th October Suicide First Aid and Prevention (or Suicide Lite) 1000-1400
• 2nd November Mental Health First Aid Awareness 1000-1400
• 16th November Suicide First Aid and Prevention (or Suicide Lite) 1000-1400

The Mental Health Awareness course is certificated by Mental Health First Aid England the cost of this course per head is £20 payable at least 2 weeks in advance

Suicide Lite is a protected course name from Suicide First Aid UK, the cost is £20 per head in advance.
