Course Aims
This course is aimed at voluntary organisations and volunteers to ensure they are aware of lone working risks and tips on how to avoid them.
The course will cover:
• The importance of a risk assessment
• Recognising risks for volunteers
• Safe lone working
• Home visits
• Recognising the warning signs of aggression
• De-escalating and defusing aggressive situations
• Knowing what resources exist
• Reporting possible safeguarding concerns
Target Audience:
Anyone who works on their own, without direct supervision or support at any time.

Delivered by Ben Croucher from Barclays. The aim of this course is to introduce you to different types of scams/fraud, the key signs to look out for, and how best to keep you and your family/friends up to date and safe from scams.
This free training workshop will increase awareness of the range of funding sources available for community activities, look at how to complete a funding application, and help your group to plan ahead. This workshop will take place online on Zoom.
