We will be joined at this meeting by Rosie Leech from Hastings Borough Council and the new Healthy Ageing Officer to understand what the next steps are for Hastings in the Age Friendly Communities programme and what the networks role will be in this.

Mr Hastings & St Leonards and HVA are bringing the Baton of Hope to Hastings on September 23rd, 2025, as part of the National Baton of Hope tour and you have the opportunity to carry the Baton on the Hastings Leg of the tour. Baton Bearers carry the Baton as a symbol of hope, togetherness solidarity and a shared purpose, whether that’s in memory of someone lost to suicide, suicide survivors or anyone who is passionate about suicide prevention. This is an opportunity to honour lives lost, raise awareness and spark conversations.
