Description
We meet weekly at : Southlands Place, 33 Hastings Road, Bexhill TN36 4BQ.
Monthly sessions now in Lewes - Bexhill - Horam - Heathfield (4 venues) - Ditchling (3 venues) - Newhaven - Peacehaven
A not for profit, volunteer and carer, based group,offering structured, innovative and interactive singing sessions, with professional tutors.
Taking sessions into the dementia community centres and dedicated care homes, we aim to address some of the gaps in the existing provision of agency care, and bring carers, cared-for and the community together through the joy of group singing and performance.
Our ambition, through this structured approach, is to help slow the progression of dementia, while helping to delay the onset of institutional care.
We are a voluntary initiative, make no charge for our service,ensuring none are excluded through price, and exist on the generosity of donations and small grants to cover running costs.
