Assessment Officer
- Assessing applications against eligibility criteria
- Conducting client assessment interviews
- Making award recommendations
- Identifying safeguarding concerns and escalating where required
- Maintaining accurate records and case information
- Signposting and referring clients to additional support services
- Working closely with local partners and stakeholders
- Has experience in assessment, casework, customer support or interviewing
- Can make balanced and evidence-based decisions
- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Understands safeguarding and confidentiality
- Is organised and able to manage competing priorities
- Enjoys helping people through challenging situations
- 31 days annual leave including bank holidays (rising with service). Pro rata for part-time.
