Mental Health Support over Christmas Period

Mental health services: For urgent or crisis support for yourself or someone you care for, as well as general information on mental health support; call the Sussex Mental Healthline on 0800 0309 500. This will be open 24/7 as usual over Christmas and the New Year bank holidays.

For more online advice if you are in a mental health crisis visit sussexpartnership.nhs.uk/urgent-help-crisis. If you’re experiencing non-urgent symptoms of stress, anxiety or low mood you can self-refer to Health in Mind by visiting healthinmind.org.uk or by calling 0300 003 0130 for support in making a referral. Health in Mind also has a lot of self-help information for people who are struggling to cope.

The two Crisis Cafés will also be open to support anyone in East Sussex with MH challenges who are really struggling over the festive period, visit the Staying Well website for information and opening times.
