Shorelink Community Writers

SCW is a community writing group which is open to all, and is happy to welcome people who need to develop confidence in expressing themselves as well as writers with a proven track record. We encourage members to experiment with new writing methods and styles. We aim to provide an informal and inclusive environment. We have a regular programme of workshops, led by the members, and on alternate weeks we read our work to each other and try to offer constructive comments. We also have many social events throughout the year, and believe that laughter is an important part of the creative process. We do not charge a subscription, but ask for a £2 donation per meeting attended to cover refreshments and other expenses. Your first meeting is free so that you can see if you like the look of us!
