St Andrews Church Fairlight

Our vision is 'to be a loving, inclusive family, sharing a passion for Jesus' and we regularly stage events, services and courses for those who want to know more about Christianity. We are keen to enrich the lives of children and adults through our regular services and events and by opening our doors to the public for ad hoc and arranged educational heritage visits.
The church and tower, built in 1845/6 have a fascinating history and the surrounding churchyard is the resting place of many renowned and colourful characters, local gentry and famous people. Our visitors' team aim to share the history found in the building and in its records, with visitors and locals alike, thereby contributing to the heritage tourism business in the area. The stunning church tower with its spectacular views of East Sussex and France, is open to the public on weekend afternoons during the summer months and visitors can try their hand at bell ringing on the 'carillon' at certain times.
