Sonrise Church provides a welcoming place for people to connect with God and grow in their Christian faith through worship, prayer and teaching. There are small groups that met weekly where people can find friendship, support and care. Supporting the community is a key value of the mission of the church and volunteers are involved in community care initiatives such as: street pastors, food bank and soup kitchens.
Learning opportunities are provided in the church through workshops along with practical experiences eg. guitar workshop, media and technology training, singing lessons, event organisation, public speaking, confidence building course etc.
Community events are organised through the church on a not-for-profit basis and have included the Jubilee Celebration, Family Fun Day, Barbeques and Comedy Nights.
