This month's meeting theme is Warm Welcome spaces.
Come and hear about the work of the Hastings & St Leonards Cultural Connections Group with a presentation from Mandy Curtis, the current Chair of the Group. Take the opportunity to network with other local organisations in the Arts & Culture arena who will have stalls in the Marketplace. Culture plays a vital role in building strong communities, fostering social inclusion and empowering residents and the cultural landscape of Hastings & St Leonards encompasses various organisations, events and initiatives that contribute to the area's vibrant culture scene.
MECC (Making Every Contact Count) is a practical introduction to the skills in talking to people about the issues they are concerned about or the changes they are seeking to make. It is all about supporting people to identify and access the things that could help them. So if your work brings you into frequent contact with people and you want to improve the likelihood of making a real difference this training could be for you. A light lunch will be provided.
