In2play is an independent community interest, not for profit organisation established for the benefit of the community. In2play CiC is designed to enable and support the development of opportunities for children and young people 0 – 13 years to learn, play and grow. We aim to improve the quality of life of children and young people by offering and maintaining excellent provision.
The playground invites 8-13 year olds, to experience play opportunities that are often difficult to find elsewhere in the town.
Adventure and taking risks is an important part of growing up and it is through play that children learn about themselves and the world around them
We are looking for a highly-organised and enthusiastic Adventure Playground Manager to lead on the day to day running of the adventure playground.
As the leader of the In2play team, you’ll contribute to the planning and delivery of children’s play. We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic person who values play as vital for children. You’ll enjoy being outdoors and have plenty of energy to deliver play opportunities, and ideally have strong Playwork, Children and Young Peoples workforce and/or Early Years skills and experience.
Based at Hastings Adventure Playground
Part time – 20 hours per week
Salary - £22,425 pro-rata
Regular hours will be some weekdays 3pm-6pm, Saturday mornings 10am-1pm, plus a weekly meeting and some additional administration/Management hours.
You will ideally have at least 3 years experience of working with children and/or young people, and a relevant level 2, 3 (or above) qualification. Closing date is 10th September and interviews from 17th September 2018
