To qualify for HVA membership, a group needs to meet ALL the following requirements:

HVA Membership Requirements

An appropriate governing document (e.g. written aims and objectives, constitution, memorandum and articles of association)

Holds its own funds

A bank account which is the name of the organization and requires at last 2 signatures for cheque transactions or cash withdrawals

Has a decision making committee

Has a commitment to equal opportunities in line with HVA's statement of values & equal opportunities

Works for the benefit of people in the Hastings area.

Our group or organization is a not-for-profit organization (e.g. charity, community group, social enterprise, etc)
