The Hastings and St Leonards Men's Health and Wellbeing Project's long-term vision is:
Men living in in Hastings and St Leonards are living happier, healthier, and longer lives. They are at the heart of decision making about their lives and thrive in strong, supportive, and well-connected communities, where they can fulfil their potential.
The project aims to increase collaboration between local men, and the systems that surround them and impact on their lives, health and wellbeing.
This workshop will bring together local stakeholders.
The workshop will be hosted by Chris Richards, a member of the Hastings and St Leonards Men’s Health and Wellbeing Project Steering Group. Chris is experienced in systems thinking approaches, is based in Hastings, and was a catalyst for the setting up of A Band of Brothers Hastings and Hastings Men's Network.
The workshop is face to face and interactive and will:
- introduce you to the Hastings and St Leonards Men's Health and Wellbeing Project,
- increase your understanding of systems thinking and why it is central to this project's work, and
- enable you to participate in system mapping around men's health and wellbeing in Hastings and St Leonards
- explore opportunities for you, and local men you know, to shape next steps.
Your valuable contributions will help shape the future of men's health and wellbeing in Hastings and St Leonards.
The Hastings and St Leonards Men's Health and Wellbeing Project is funded for three years by East Sussex County Council Public Health and is hosted by Hastings Voluntary Action.

It is all about supporting people to identify and access the things that could help them. So if your work brings you into frequent contact with people and you want to improve the likelihood of making a real difference this training could be for you. A light lunch will be provided.
