During volunteers week HVA will have a gazebo in the town centre with tables and information leaflets promoting the benefits of volunteering. We will be joined by other organisations looking for volunteers who will be happy to speak to people that are interested in volunteering with them. There will also be organisations with volunteering information in Central Hall. If you would like to join us either at the gazebo or in Central Hall, please email: [email protected] or if you would like to find out more about volunteering, just come along on the day.

Mr Hastings & St Leonards and HVA are bringing the Baton of Hope to Hastings on September 23rd, 2025, as part of the National Baton of Hope tour and you have the opportunity to carry the Baton on the Hastings Leg of the tour. Baton Bearers carry the Baton as a symbol of hope, togetherness solidarity and a shared purpose, whether that’s in memory of someone lost to suicide, suicide survivors or anyone who is passionate about suicide prevention. This is an opportunity to honour lives lost, raise awareness and spark conversations.
