Learn how to get your work done with Sociocracy, a consent-based way of making decisions and organising groups. In half a day, you’ll get theory, examples, and practical experience applying the principles of Sociocracy to issues that matter to you and other participants.
Participants will learn:
• The principles of Consent, Circles, Feedback, and Elections by Consent, and how applying these principles can bring healthy forms of collaborative power into any group.
• The history of Sociocracy, how Sociocracy came to be adopted in the world’s largest communities movement, and how this movement from the global South is now being adopted across Europe.
• How to facilitate a group decision using the principle of Consent.
• Why asking for objections enables visionaries and sceptics to work together effectively.
• When not to make decisions by consent, and how traditional ways of leading are an important part of the way forward.
This introductory program will run for an initial half day, and will then be supplemented by a follow up session a few weeks later.

Explore how you can collaborate and get involved in this exciting event to raise awareness and tackle the stigma surrounding suicide. Together we can raise awareness of suicide and enable those affected by suicide to tell their stories, making a difference for those in Hastings and St leonards. Join us for the afternoon for activities, discussion , planning and fun. Light refreshments will be available.
