Come learn how to sharpen your tools like a pro at our hands-on workshop! Join Transition Town Hastings as Learning to Grow 2025 kicks off with local horticulture expert, Sam Van Den Bogaerde, teaching us how to sharpen our loppers, spades and other garden tools.
As well as learning how to care for our tools, we’ll also be visiting an exciting new space that Hastings Borough Council has provided for Learning to Grow to use as a pop-up community “garden centre”.
Bring your own tools and gardening gloves. (If you don’t have either, just let us know when you book and we can provide.)
No experience necessary – we’ll be learning! Everyone welcome.
Free refreshments provided.
Places are limited, so booking is essential.
