Hastings Voluntary Action and Safe Families are working in partnership to better inform church leaders in Hastings and St Leonards about the range of community projects and networks that HVA are involved in that may be of interest to you in your work.

In particular we are keen to draw attention to the Hastings Food Network funded by Public Health which focuses on issues related to food security including providing emergency food access for those in need, supporting the development of new and and existing community food projects including food banks and social supermarkets, providing cookery and food education workshops and supporting initiatives aimed at bringing people together to share food and better connect to their community.

We would like to invite you to join us at Central Hall in Hastings town centre for a free light lunch on Tuesday 16th September from 12-1.30 where you can gather information, ask questions and chat to us about any ideas you might have that could link to our work.
