Umbrella Parade Workshop

Ahead of the 2026 Fat Tuesday celebrations in Hastings, we are holding an umbrella workshop! Come along and decorate your umbrella, guided by a professional artist from Radiator Arts, and bring it to the Preservation Sunday parade. It will be a vibrant session, full of colour, and all materials will be provided. Please bring your own umbrella, try charity shops for interesting and affordable examples. We will provide fruit, light snacks and tea and coffee throughout the session. This workshop is brought to you by the HVA Macmillan Cancer Champions project, that promotes conversations in our communities, and is open to all. Emergency First Aid at Work

Completion of this course will enable you to:
• Understand the role and responsibilities of a First Aider
• Be able to assess an incident
• Be able to provide first aid to an unresponsive casualty
• Be able to provide first aid to a casualty that is choking
• Be able to provide first aid to a casualty with external bleeding
• Know how to provide first aid to a casualty that is in shock
• Know how to provide first aid to a casualty with minor injuries
Please note: There is a £50 charge for this course.
