Emotional Resilience - Cancelled until further notice

This is a 2 hour course which can be emotional, a willingness to share with others is important. It is not necessary to reveal personal issues but the attendees must be willing to engage with exercises.

The aims of this course are: To explore our own resilience to emotional ‘stress’ triggers and methods of minimising the impact of emotional responses.

  • To share our own backgrounds and current stress factors
  • To understand why we respond to stress
  • To practice tools to help reduce stress
  • To know where to turn to for more advice and information.

Mr Hastings & St Leonards and HVA are bringing the Baton of Hope to Hastings on September 23rd, 2025, as part of the National Baton of Hope tour and you have the opportunity to carry the Baton on the Hastings Leg of the tour. Baton Bearers carry the Baton as a symbol of hope, togetherness solidarity and a shared purpose, whether that’s in memory of someone lost to suicide, suicide survivors or anyone who is passionate about suicide prevention. This is an opportunity to honour lives lost, raise awareness and spark conversations.
