Our monthly meeting for organisations and individuals working with/for older people locally. We always welcome new partners at the Ageing Network meetings, so if you know of anyone working with older people, or are simply in contact with older people who are keen to have a voice on issues related to ageing, then do invite them to connect to the network. This month's theme is Intergenerational Work.
Intergenerational Projects is a subject the Ageing Network has discussed many times. There have been some additional conversations with other partners taking place too, so now seemed like a good opportunity to have a more in-depth discussion and talk about next steps in Hastings. Rachel from Young At Heart will be joining us https://youngatheart.me.uk/

Join us for a festive gathering that also marks five years since the Council passed the motion for Hastings to become an Age Friendly Community.
Music, food, creative activities and friendship - all welcome!
Making Every Contact Count (MECC), this is a behavioural change technique which is now commonly used by health and social care staff during their day-to-day interactions or health appointments with individuals, although you don’t need to be in one of these roles to attend the training, it can be beneficial to anyone.
