Join us for our next Connecting the Connectors event, where we bring local practitioners and stakeholders together for shared learning, and to increase understanding what is already happening, where, when and how.

This meeting will have a Befriending and Good Neighbours focus. Some proposed discussion topics include reaching those most in need and reducing loneliness; what are the major challenges faced by these services; what communication channels work; do younger people need befriending services.

Includes refreshments.

Mr Hastings & St Leonards and HVA are bringing the Baton of Hope to Hastings on September 23rd, 2025, as part of the National Baton of Hope tour and you have the opportunity to carry the Baton on the Hastings Leg of the tour. Baton Bearers carry the Baton as a symbol of hope, togetherness solidarity and a shared purpose, whether that’s in memory of someone lost to suicide, suicide survivors or anyone who is passionate about suicide prevention. This is an opportunity to honour lives lost, raise awareness and spark conversations.
