Hastings Voluntary Action are holding a Volunteer Recruitment Stall in Hastings Town Centre outside Caffe Neros to promote and highlight the benefits of volunteering. We will be joined by people from local organisations looking for volunteers who will be happy to speak to you on the day. The objectives:
• Understanding how and why we communicate
• Appreciation of how others interact with us in face –to-face communication and how we interact with others
• Understand a person’s right to own their own information (data protection)
• Tips on how to overcome barriers to communication
