Ahead of the 2026 Fat Tuesday celebrations in Hastings, we are holding an umbrella workshop! Come along and decorate your umbrella, guided by a professional artist from Radiator Arts, and bring it to the Preservation Sunday parade. It will be a vibrant session, full of colour, and all materials will be provided. Please bring your own umbrella, try charity shops for interesting and affordable examples. We will provide fruit, light snacks and tea and coffee throughout the session. This workshop is brought to you by the HVA Macmillan Cancer Champions project, that promotes conversations in our communities, and is open to all.
