The Eggtooth Project was incorporated in 2012 and has been working for the last 7 years with hundreds of children, young people and families in Hastings & Rother. We are a company limited by guarantee - not for profit social enterprise. We also have a small division in Swansea. We work to co-create systemic resilience to tackle the problems of underachievement and mental health issues. Our exceptional learning experiences are underpinned by a robust, creative therapeutic approach, commitment, conservation of strengths and an openness to enlisting support from different areas of the community. The courses are aimed at primary and secondary pupils and staff, further education students, parents and families, all delivered through a wide variety of projects in a wealth of community settings including restaurants, music venues, museums. Colleges etc.
At present, we are running over 10 different projects concurrently, with a wide variety of partners including King’s College University London (supporting access to higher education), The Stephen Lawrence Foundation, The De La Warr Pavilion, Straight Talking, East Sussex College Hastings and many other community organisations.
