Southeast Communities Rail Partnership connects local people to the railway. We bring together local people, train operating companies, Network Rail, local and community bus transport providers and other stakeholders to have a voice in their essential community asset, their local station. Our volunteers seek to improve the station environment through sustainable gardening, art and heritage projects, encourage active travel options such as cycling and walking, work with schools and colleges on travel education, support local businesses and help find solutions to accessibility problems.
We have two community rail lines in the Hastings area, The Hastings to Tonbridge Line and Marshlink Line - Ore to Ashford International.
