Description
The Bexhill Diabetes Support Group was formed in October 2011 to help the many Diabetic Patients in the Bexhill, Rother and Hastings areas. It is an Independent Group and relies on fund raising, gifts and donations.
Our Mission Statement:
The aim of this friendly Diabetes Group is to provide useful knowledge as well as good ideas to help our members manage their condition better with advice from interesting professional speakers at our regular monthly meetings.
We are run by a (properly constituted) Committee.
The Group’s aim is to help answer your questions and provide extra information to enable you to understand better that diabetes does to your body and assist you to make better choices in managing your lifestyle and diet more efficiently.
What we offer:
We provide a good range of professional speakers
There is plenty of time to answer questions
We offer a comfortable central venue and monthly afternoon meetings
A refreshment break with opportunity to talk to fellow members
We organise some social activities through the year
We encourage you to enjoy as normal a life as possible
