Description
The Friends of Conquest aim to make a stay in the Conquest as comfortable and as quick as can be. We fund the purchase of extra medical equipment for the diagnosis and care of patients and support initiatives that maintain the morale of the staff.
Our volunteers operate a Flower Shop and General Store in the Hospital Foyer as well as a Shopping Trolley Service for patients unable to leave their beds and for busy staff who can’t leave their station. We also have volunteers who can be seen around the hospital ground picking litter, helping keep the car parks and outdoor areas tidy as well a gardening group who work on planting, weeding and maintaining the courtyards throughout the hospital.
We are very grateful to the many local volunteers and organisations who have helped us with our fundraising events and activities, without whom it would be impossible to continue.
