Description
Knights Foundation. We are a not-for-profit (charity status pending) focused on children’s mental health in the Hastings and Rother area. We are a newly formed Foundation which supports Children’s Mental and Physical Health across Hastings & Rother. We raise funds for both hands-on projects that deliver a wide range of resources from activates & games to meals and somewhere warm & safe, with access to services or to signpost, with support to access these if required. We also plan to offer to sponsor a child who is need of services yet as the services are not available due to finances both within the NHS & for the family. We understand the need to provide services and support with early interventions yet waiting times are so long. We want to be able to offer support before the child reaches crisis point.
We believe a whole approach of physical, mental, financial, and practical is required to support the child and the family.
Our dream is that Mental and Physical Health is understood and taught from a young age so that our children can have an equal, stable start in the lives with the knowledge that if they require support, it is there.
