Description
Lunch Positive is a local charity supporting people living with HIV in Sussex. We improve the health and wellbeing of people living with HIV through community and asset based activities, focused on financial disadvantage, health and wellbeing, the social determinants of health, combatting loneliness and social isolation. We are the only HIV community group in the District.
Hastings and Rother HIV Hub supports people with HIV in the District many of whom are experiencing multiple social and financial disadvantages. Service users may experience poor physical & mental health, anticipated or internalised HIV stigma that are frequently barriers to accessing support.
The quarterly HIV hub in St Leonards provides a healthy cooked meal to members, advice and information, and facilitated peer-support. We also offer a food bank package to members experiencing food poverty.
