Description
The Mechanical Making Space is a new flexible community hub with a workshop space for automata making workshops exploring engineering, design and arts and free automata exhibitions for local residents and visitors to Hastings.
Cabaret Mechanical Theatre began in 1981 and in 1984 we relocated to Covent Garden, London where we established our international reputation. After closing in 2000 we continued touring and running workshops. We set up Cabaret Mechanical Theatre Learning CIC in Jan 23 to create a new automata making hub to inspire a new generation.
Our multi-purpose Mechanical Making Space houses :
