Adventure Playground Manager

If so the role of Adventure Playground Manager with In2play could be ideal for you.
The role - We are looking for an exceptional manager to oversee the whole adventure playground site. Adventure and taking risks is an important part of growing up and it is through play that children learn about themselves and the world around them. This is an exciting opportunity to work with children and young people to develop, co-create and deliver open access play sessions at Hastings Adventure Playground. We are looking for an experienced play worker who can lead on all aspects of running Hastings Adventure Playground.
Duties will include, but certainly not limited to, leading on the after school open access sessions, facilities management, health and safety, risk assessments, staff and volunteer management and partnership working. If you are an energetic, outgoing individual who enjoys working outdoors, understand children’s play and love working with people we would love to hear from you.
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
• A qualification in playwork and/or extensive experience in Playwork
• Excellent organisational, report writing, interpersonal and communication skills
• Management experience including project management, facilities management and staff supervision
• Good knowledge of child safeguarding procedures and health and safely.

We believe it is the essential element that inspires their imagination, creativity, learning and independence as well as improving physical health and mental well-being. In2play’s projects are designed to enable and support children and their families to learn, play and grow.
Location: Hastings Adventure Playground,
Contract: 1 year subject to further funding
Hours: 30 per week
Salary: £24375 pro rata
